Alexandria man convicted of raping, trafficking teen girl

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Blair County say an Alexandria man faces decades behind bars after he was convicted of raping and trafficking a teenage girl on Easter weekend in 2021. Police charged Donald Hetrick in late 2022 in connection to a sex trafficking investigation at a Blair County hotel. Authorities say officers discovered messages between Hetrick and his co-defendant, Nikkia Beck, in which the pair reportedly planned to pay the teenage victim to come to the hotel to engage in sexual acts. Research from Axios and the Harris Poll found Meta, ByteDance, and X have lower trust scores while companies like OpenAI, Microsoft, and Nvidia, with a larger focus on AI, are more trusted by Americans. Johnstown building now housing game & hobby shop, studio space and wellness center

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — A grand opening celebration was held Tuesday for the opening of another Johnstown business. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Bridge and Rising Studio and Lofts, located on Clinton Street. Owner Serena Bridges says the building was completely empty when she bought it several months ago. Now, three businesses occupy the space. On the first floor is game and hobby shop "Wolves and Wyverns" Located on the second floor is a studio space that can be rented for classes, workshops, or other events. Read More...
