CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — For the 5th consecutive time, a school in Cambria County is being re-designated as a Pennsylvania Don Eichhorn School “Schools to Watch.”
A celebration was held Tuesday for Cambria Heights Middle School.
Cambria Heights’ first “Schools to Watch” designation was in 2012.
Every three years, they get a visit from the “Schools to Watch” team, which identifies strengths and weaknesses to determine if your school is redesignated again. Read More...
SIPESVILLE, Pa. – Several people were arrested after a drug bust in Somerset County Thursday. State police said they raided a home on Schoolhouse Road in Sipesville looking for Ty Soberdash, who had an active warrant. According to police, once at the home, they found a variety of drugs in an upstairs bedroom, including mushrooms, heroin, black tar heroin, pills and meth.
