German students get work experience in Cambria County during 'Gap year' after high school

Johnstown, Pa — While some students graduate high school and jump right into college - others take something called a 'gap year'. 6 News spoke with recent high school grads currently pursuing a gap year. Johnstown gymnast launches comeback into elite gymnastics at 32-years-old

Local officials comment on concerns surrounding public housing within Johnstown

Johnstown, Pa — Even though Johnstown is no longer considered financially distressed, concerns remain about the city's public housing. H.U.D officials and Johnstown leaders that spoke with 6 News remain optimistic this issue will improve through the full redevelopment of the city. “There’s so many issues with Johnstown, not just affordable housing,” said Frank Janakovic, the Mayor of Johnstown.
