PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A groundbreaking psychotherapist known as the father of cognitive therapy has died at age 100. The Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy confirms that Dr. Aaron Beck died peacefully in his sleep at his Philadelphia home on Monday. Cognitive therapy helps patients to identify and dismiss irrational negative thoughts about themselves. Beck developed the treatment in the 1960s at the University of Pennsylvania. Mom on the run, months after abandoning children in deplorable conditions, police say

ROMAN FOREST, Texas (TND) — A mother accused of abandoning two children, months ago, is on the loose and apparently entertaining thousands of followers on social media. Police near Houston said Raven Yates left her 12-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son in deplorable conditions with very little food. Moose Club bans smoking nationwide
