New act would allow schools to serve whole, 2% milk

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Lawmakers have introduced a new act in hopes of allowing schools to once again serve whole milk and 2% milk. The Milk in Lunches for Kids Act has been introduced by U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, of Pennsylvania. “Every parent knows milk does a body good,” said Toomey. “In 2010, the Obama administration and Congress erred in prohibiting whole milk and 2% from being served in schools. Sheetz reduces pain at the pump, lowers some gas prices to as low as $3.49 per gallon

PA (WOLF) — Sheetz announced on Monday that, effective immediately, the chain will be reducing pain at the pump this upcoming holiday weekend by reducing the price of fuel to $3.99 a gallon for Unleaded 88 and $3.49 a gallon for E85. Company officials say this limited-time offer will only be available through the July 4th travel weekend.
