SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — The 74th annual Maple Festival kicked off in Somerset County this weekend.
Dozens of people gathered at the Meyersdale Lions Club on Saturday morning for some sausage and pancakes...served with some fresh maple syrup of course.
Visitors could stop by the quilt show, many vendors, tractor and truck shows, all while watching live entertainment.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — The Salvation Army announced earlier this week that it will close its Johnstown dental center later this month.
It was first reported back in November that the group planned to move the dental center to a new location on Goucher Street in Upper Yoder Township.
Since then, officials say they’ve been faced with unexpected obstacles due to rental property issues, and although the brick and mortar location will be closing, officials say they still plan to provide help for those with dental healthcare needs. Read More...
