West Reading, PA (CNN) — The National Transportation Safety Board has released new documents related to the deadly chocolate factory explosion in Pennsylvania last year.
On March 24, 2023, seven employees were killed, nearly a dozen were injured and residents in West Reading had to leave their homes.
The new report details a timeline of events leading up to and after the explosion.

2nd UPDATE:PennDOT has reduced the travel restrictions for Interstate 80 back to Tier 1.
"Restricted vehicles include: motorcycles, vehicles with tow behind trailers, RV/campers, box trucks, tractors without trailers, permitted loads, empty tandem trailers, empty straight trailers, school buses, commercial buses and motor coaches without chains or ATD onboard."

SOMERSET, Pa. - Anglers will have to wait another year before they can use the waters at Somerset Lake.
According to the Fish and Boat Commission, construction at lake has been delayed to due to permitting.
The lake was drained in October 2017 to prep for a multi-million-dollar construction project to build a new spillway, raise the elevation of the dam top and make repairs to the dam.
The construction was slated to begin this fall, but now will likely start in the spring of 2019. Read More...
